A software company with a simple belief: every customer should feel like they're getting more than they paid for — not just on day one, but every month.
We looked at the software market and saw a pattern: products aimed at small trades businesses were either too expensive, too complicated, too light on features, or all three. The small contractor — the one-truck lawn care crew, the family plumbing business, the HVAC company with a handful of employees — was being underserved.
So we built Overbuilt Software to fix that. The name isn't an accident. We deliberately set out to build products that are more capable than the price suggests — where users consistently feel like they're getting a deal, even months after signing up.
That's the standard. We build to it every time.
The software market charges enterprise rates for features that small businesses need just as badly. We believe the small contractor deserves the same quality tools without the enterprise price tag. Our goal is to make competitors look overpriced by comparison.
Skimping on features to create upsell tiers is bad for customers and we refuse to do it. Everything that makes sense for your business gets built into the base product. Robust and feature-rich is our baseline, not a premium tier.
A subscription has to earn its renewal every single month. We measure success not by signups but by whether customers still feel they're getting a bargain 6 months in. That shapes every decision we make about the product.
In construction, something that's overbuilt is engineered beyond the minimum requirement — stronger than it needs to be, built to last longer than expected, with more capability than strictly necessary. It's not a criticism. It's a compliment.
That's exactly what we set out to build. Software that's more capable, more thoughtful, and more durable than the price implies. Every product we ship is overbuilt by design — because the people using it deserve nothing less.
The trades are full of people who take pride in doing things right. We built Overbuilt Software for them.
